Animations

For my Art and Technology class, I created two distinct projects that blend technology with artistic expression. First, I developed custom code for video visualizations that respond to music using FFT audio analysis, where visual elements pulse and transform in perfect synchronization with the song's frequencies. Second, I explored content generation techniques to create dynamic animated visuals that evolve organically. These projects represent my personal exploration of digital art forms, where I translated my creative vision into code while capturing both the technical structure and their emotional essence.

For this project, I completed an FFT visualization project using Don Toliver and Masego's "Mystery Lady." I designed visuals that capture a summer atmosphere to complement the song's light beat and lyrics, creating a trippy, immersive experience. My visuals respond directly to the frequency analysis of the music, with elements that pulse, flow, and transform in synchronization with the song's audio patterns. I focused on maintaining a dreamy summer aesthetic throughout while ensuring the visual components dynamically reacted to the song's frequency spectrum, creating a cohesive experience that enhances the laid-back yet psychedelic quality of the track.

For this project, I created a content generator project that explores the surreal and unconventional. I designed an interactive digital collage that comes to life through various dynamic elements. The project features eyes that continuously cycle with different eyes that enhance the collage look and it is creating an unsettling visual rhythm. The mouse has insects that follow and it is in a continuous loop. Interactive elements allow viewers to change flowers with a click and when moving across the screen it transitions between acosmic galaxy and a warm sunset. Adding to the dreamlike quality, a car drives into the abyss of the person's mouth. By combining these weird, unexpected elements, I developed a visually compelling project that showcases my experimental approach and invites viewers to experience my unconventional creative perspective.
