While John does all the roasting by himself he renovated a ‘36 school bus to be able to serve his coffee in. He has a team of baristas who will be assiting him on spreading his love for the coffee. His coffee beans have also been sold at local markets and wants to continue to expand.

John Danza started is his passion for coffee when he lived in Central America. He learned the process for roasting through his journey in Central America and his love for it grew. When John moved back to Eugene, Oregon he was determined to start his own company. He created his own roasting company in 2022. John rents out a garage and set up his won roasting space. He has one machine and a bunch of coffee beans. John uses Columbian, Ethiopian and Costa Rican coffee beans for each different kinds of roast he has.

Throughout the photos it helps depict every aspect of Johns story. He you are able to see his passion for the raosting process through each and every photo. I wanted to be able to see him in his natural environment and capture his raw emotions. These photos capture the essence of a local coffee roaster going through the motions to create his products. It shows the simplicity, patience, and hard work it takes to go through the roasting process of a simple coffee bean.
